Welsh Rarebit Pan

  • GA0044.jpg
$325.00

The magician uses this giant saucepan to facilitate the production of a live rabbit from a borrowed hat, in a routine that includes comedy, mystery, and surprise. At the conclusion of the effect in which the "baking" takes place inside the borrowed hat, the spectator's headgear is returned unharmed (even though it has apparently been set on fire and filled with many ingredients used to bake a cake). With a removeable handle for packing. Nickel plated brass. Most likely made by Donald Holmes, but being a prop cataloged by nearly every magic shop from the 1890s - 1930s, it is difficult to pinpoint the exact maker's identity.
