Classic engraving depicting the conjuror with a bag of tricks, cards on the table to his left, and acrobats in a panel below. Fawkes was a famous eighteenth century magician and this image shows him as he appeared (with the acrobats) at Bartholomew Fair and Southwark Fair. From the Edwin A. Dawes collection, with a paper labeo to the verso identifying this as item no. 507. Mild toning, else in very good condition.
