El Duco's Magic Flashlight

The magician shows a red silk which he pushes into his left fist. A spectator is handed a flashlight and asked to light with the lamp towards the hand with the silk. The beam of “the magic flashlight” will have the silk disappear, and the spectator has a problem with the flashlight, because it will not light. You ask him to check the battery. When he opens the lamp, he finds that the battery is gone, instead, there is the red silk. When the magician opens his hand, there is the battery! You give the spectator the battery and ask him to put it back into the flashlight. Once again you put the silk into your fist.
