A spectator buys a used card from you, the friendly used car salesman. He signs the back of the card and remembers it’s suit and value. You fax a copy of the card to the department of used cards. “So if you lose a card, there will instantly be a copy on file.” As an example, you have the spectator put his card into the deck and cut it several times. The cards are returned to its case and the deck is left in plain view on the table. Next, you bring out a deck marked, “Department of Used Cards.” The cards are removed and spread face-up. You look for the spectator’s “serial number.” Finding it, you state, “See, the fax has already arrived.” You turn the card over to reveal the spectator’s signature on the back of the card! “It even has an exact copy of your signature!” Includes instructions.
