A sheet of glass is placed in a wooden box. The box (and glass, apparently) is then perforated by metal spikes, yet the glass is unharmed. Original crackle finish paint with coat of arms design in gold. With five spikes (only), one hallmarked. A few paint chips, else in good condition.
