Eight letters written by S.S. Henry and his wife, Lucille to Howard and Teddy Strickler. They contain content pertaining to both their personal and on-stage lives, their tours, and the trials and tribulations of depression-era life and the vagaries of touring entertainers. Topics include the Redpath Chautauqua bureau, Henry's custom-made silks, their tour routes, Felix Blei the manager, and even the price of their performances (just $30 per assembly show in the 1930s). Includes TLSs and ALSs; two are on S.S. Henry's colorful, illustrated stationery. Several run to two or three pages. Generally in very good condition.
