P & L Ultralite Flashlight

A rare example of this non-magic product produced by "The House Where Tricks are Born," Petrie & Lewis of New Haven, Connecticut. Essentially a telescoping flashlight with a battery compartment for three small batteries; when opened, the small bulb inside is reflected by the chromed interior to produce a strong beam of light. The front opening with the original celluloid lens (usually missing), and with the uncommon original box. Stamped with the manufacturer's details and the name of the product on one end. In near-fine condition; about the nicest example of this uncommon association item we have ever encountered.
