Three-sheet lithograph overprinted for Wallace, a noted North Carolina performer (and expert at "double talk," or as he called it, "X-Jargon"). The magician produces a bounty of livestock, illusions, and people from a large foulard. Based on a design first created for Harry Jansen, later known as Dante the magician. Linen-backed. Minor wear and restoration along folds, borders, and sheet breaks, repaired closed tears with scattered inpainting. A-. This is a very large poster with bright and vibrant colors and is an original stone lithograph printed in the 1930s.
